A Review of May

 A Review of May

To start off the month, I received an ARC of Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson! I LOVED this book (find out why)!

Since You've Been Gone gave me the biggest book hangover I've ever had! I couldn't start a new book for over a week.

I was worried I would never recover.

Enter The Secrets of Lily Graves by Sarah Strohmeyer.

I first heard about The Secrets of Lily Graves a couple of days before it was released. The description sounded interesting so I read the 60 page preview for free on Epicreads.com.

I was hooked!

I skipped on over to Amazon, scooped it up, and read it in two days after it arrived (I would have finished sooner, but graduation festivities got in the way).

I loved The Secrets of Lily Graves (find out why)!

I also read Life by Committee by Corey Ann Haydu - full review to come!

The Art of Lainey by Paula Stokes was released on May 20th. I haven't read this book yet, but I bought it a few days ago!

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart was released May 13th. I don't know much about We Were Liars, but I'll keep it in mind for a possible future read.

Let's Chat!

What were your favorite May releases?

What are you most excited to read?

Some pretty exciting, non-bookish things happened to me in May as well!

I graduated from college!

With honors!

Summa Cum Laude!

I also finished editing my manuscript!

And

I sent out my first query letter of the year!

  1. While I do love hearing the book news, your personal life is to exciting. Graduating from college and completing the book are both huge accomplishments. Your future looks bright. Congrats.
I love the way that your front page looks and the way that you do your featured images.
